Holly Uhler

Holly grew up on a horse farm in the Shenandoah Valley and began riding at a young age and started helping with lessons as a teenager. Growing up, Holly competed in the hunter ring, fox hunted, and spent many hours on trails in the George Washington National Forest. She rode and competed on an IHSA team throughout college and had several opportunities to work, ride, and train with some great horseman and women during that time.

In 2015 Holly began riding and teaching in Keswick, Virginia, and the surrounding area. She believes that there is so much more to learn from a horse than just how to ride. Holly teaches students how to care for their horses properly before and after each ride, and also incorporate ground work into lessons with interested students.

Holly serves as our professional rider at VRSVA, helping horses in our rehabilitation program get back into shape under tack.
