Christina Fulton LVT

Christina’s love of horses started at a young age. She began riding at age 5 and by the time she received her first horse, Cinnamon, at age 10 she knew her life moving forward would revolve around horses.

Christina earned a degree as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 1992 and practiced small animal emergency medicine until her children were born. She operated a boarding, training, and breeding barn while her children were young and eventually began working at Woodside Equine Clinic once her children were in school.

While working at Woodside, Christina’s focus was anesthesia, surgery, and diagnosis of equine injuries. It was through this work that she realized horse rehabilitation was her passion.

Christina believes that rehabilitation is as important as diagnosis. Using a holistic approach to return a horse to health is a main tenet of Christina’s rehabilitation philosophy. She also believes in treating every horse that comes through the VRSVA’s barn doors as though they were her own — providing top of the line care to each and every patient.
